    Eid Al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, holds immense significance in Saudi Arabia, marked by elaborate celebrations and religious observances. According to regulations and laws, Eid Al-Adha vacation for the year 1445 AH will span ten days in the public sector.

    Holiday Details in the Public Sector:

    Start of the Holiday: The vacation will commence on Tuesday, 5th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, corresponding to the 11th of June 2024 CE.

    End of the Holiday: The holiday concludes on Saturday, 16th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, which aligns with the 22nd of June 2024 CE.

    Return to Work and School: Work and school activities resume the following Sunday, the 17th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, falling on the 23rd of June 2024 CE.

    Eid Al-Adha Holiday in the Private Sector:

    In the private sector, employees will enjoy a four-day holiday, starting from the Day of Arafat on Saturday, 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah, extending until the Wednesday following Eid. Additional days off include Monday and Tuesday, with work expected to resume on Wednesday, the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH.

    Vacation Days by Sector:

    • Public Sector: Eid Al-Adha vacation extends to 10 days.
    • Private Sector: The holiday period lasts for 4 days.
    • Banks and Financial Markets: Their vacation spans 9 days.

    Eid Al-Adha Holiday in Saudi Banks:

    Bank holidays in Saudi Arabia commence on the 7th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, equivalent to the 13th of June, and continue until the 17th of the same month, corresponding to the 23rd of June 2024.
