    The construction of the museum was initiated by Sheikh Abdul Raouf Khalil in 1987 in the city of Taibah, which he also founded. Officially opened in 1996, the museum covers an extensive area of approximately 5,000 square meters, making it one of Saudi Arabia’s largest exhibition halls.

    The Taibah International Museum of Science and Knowledge is divided into three sections, each representing distinct historical eras:

    1. Saudi Heritage

    This section showcases the Saudi heritage and provides an in-depth exploration of the historical phases that the Saudi society has undergone up to the present day.

    2. Ottoman Empire

    Visiting this section will take you through the significant historical period of the Ottoman Empire, both regionally and globally.

    3. European Civilization

The museum boasts nineteen fountains and eighteen exhibition halls that house unique artifacts and antiques.
