Anticipation Builds as August 22 Marks the Return of Football
Football enthusiasts, gear up for the excitement: The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has just unveiled the schedule for the 2024-25 Roshn Saudi League (RSL).
The RSL is set to make its grand return next month, with the opening matches scheduled between August 22 and 24.
Season Overview
The upcoming season will feature an extensive 306-match lineup spread over 34 weeks. There will be a 10-day pause during the last 10 days of Ramadan. As previously, each team will host nine matches and play eight away games (or the reverse) in each half of the season. No team will face more than two consecutive home or away games within any half of the season, ensuring a balanced schedule. Additionally, a minimum of two rest days will be mandated between matches. Teams from the same city or metropolitan area are scheduled to play at home and away at different times to guarantee continuous football action across the nation.
